IMA Staff Welfare Fund - 2010

India Mission Association is the National federation of missions in India which assists Mission organization and churches in the proclamation of the good news and in making Disciples of Christ among all peoples, languages and geographical areas, through members who partner to share resources, research and training, by their effective accountability and care of their personnel. IMA represents around 230 Indian mission organizations agencies and church groups; and more than 50,000 ground level workers within India and beyond.

The IMA team is from multicultural and multilingual background with a commitment to serve Church and Mission. Thirty leaders are serving through IMA who are paid by IMA society. IMA is trying to care for the welfare of staff and their families. In order to be prepared to meet the need of the Staff the following funds need to be mobilized.

The Itemized Budget is:

Expected Results:

Strong team to serve the members of IMA.
An exposure to the increasing challenges to transform the nation.
An exposure about the contemporary missiological issues and mission scenario in India.
An exposure to the principles of leadership from the scriptural and management perspective.
An overall training in the areas of attitude, skills and knowledge for future responsibilities, and challenges to be an effective mission leader.
Relief for staff’s family and children during the death of the staff or any family member.
Medical help would be supplied during the major sickness of the staff.
