In the Month of September 2007

Ganesh

Gave leadership to Development, Training, Networks-Thank tanks, Research – Communications team in planning, programs and personnel matters.
We had major three programs this month first AMLT 2007 from the 2-15 September 2007 where 22 leaders from 9 different organizations spent 2 weeks in Hyderabad in learning and equipping themselves for missions in the fast changing scenario. Facilitated a session in AMLT on Mission Challenges in India and IMA net work and Challenge of Bhandhus that is popular Hindus in India. The Challenge is "How to reach 82% popular Hindus in India" Most popular Bhandus respect and are open to follow Jesus Christ.
There was a think tank/consultation in Hyderabad, about 35 leaders of Ministries focusing on Children came together on September 11 & 12, 2007. The purpose is the challenge of about 400 million Children (40%) to be reached. The leaders involved in Children Ministry came together to think, to plan, to execute methods & strategies to deal with the different categories of modern age Children and rural Children and access to different tools and work together sharing resources in reaching the entire community of Children. During this meeting we helped the different organization working among children to network together for reaching the children and to move forward in effective way.
There was also a Think tank/ Consultation on Neighbours on September 18th at Bangalore and September 24th in Hyderabad. Twelve Leaders representing five organizations came together basically to evaluate the ministries done among the 14 % population of Muslim and make some new strategies to reach them.

Worked on Care grant disbursement and reports of Missionaries sent to Taiwan

Worked on the proposal for the relief work in coastal area and coordinated the sending of fund with finance and Member relation team.
Updated the list of businessman ad IMA prayer partners.
I am encourage to see the some of the Christian businessmen showing there interest in IMA ministries and the inspired by the Indian mission challenges.
Continue to Pray that more funds will be raised for IMA Programs, Building project and staff support.
Pray for my daughters Jessica 3rd std and Anshika L Kg who are writing there quarterly exam.

During the month of August 2007

Ganesh

Facilitated Missions interest groups in PAN INDIA SUMMIT, Kolkotta from 21-24 August. Pan India Summit was jointly organized by IMA, EFI (Evangelical Fellowship of India) & EFFICOR (Evangelical Fellowship of India Commission on Relief). It is first time in Indian Missions all these three umbrella bodies come under one banner to see how together reach whole nation without duplication work. It was time of reflection and Analysis. Issues like advocacy, persecution, religious freedom, development & empowerment, media, research, governance, leadership development were discussed. It is great effort to bring all missions leaders together to work together by sharing resources and expertise.

Attended meeting with Professionals of Kolkotta City on 25^th August. It was good time to challenge 70 professional to take up the responsibility as missionaries. The general principle is it is only full time Christian worker’s responsibility. They were challenged to reach their own collogues and friends and also be active partners in missions.

Gave leadership to Development, Training, Networks-Thank tanks, Research – Communications team in planning, programs and personnel matters.

It was encouraging to see more North Indian leaders in PAN INDIA Summit. God is raising many north India leaders to take up responsibility in reaching India. God is proving that reaching India is not only South Indian Leaders responsibility but every Indian Christian Leaders

Response of prayer partners especially from CCEA/ CCRA and India partners was an encouragement to me

Please pray for the businessmen of Nagpur and Kolkata who attended meeting will be challenged and help as we try to meet the Challenges in India.

Praise God for our daughters Jessica and Anshika who are growing in the grace of God and doing very good in school. Please pray that God would grant us His grace and strength as we teach then biblical values.

In the Month of July 2007

Streamlined the work in Development and Network team.
Supervised the Magazine work for Friends and Funds.
Helped in AMLT and Think tank Planning meeting
Attended PAN-INDIA SUMMIT leaders’ meet in Delhi.
The commitment of the leaders in my team has encouraged me.
Please pray for my health as I get back ache because of cervical spondolitis.

Freedom of taking decision and trust of the Team leader Mr. Deepesh Charles was an encouragement to me.

In the month of June 2007

Involved in Indo-Koreans partnership forum and Coordinators meeting
Involved in different projects like GivenGain Online, Member Mission Directory 2007 and other publications, corresponding state level Christian Businessmen fellowships, Income Generation, etc
Gave leadership Training-Leadership, Networks-Think-tank, Development, Research-Communications team.
I am encouraged by seeing Indian missions understanding the need of networking and partnership and there is a big move among Indian Missions.
Please pray as we need more Indian partners to come alongside to take.

In the months of January to May

Ganesh

Met twenty Business men in Nagpur, Chennai and Bangalore and challenged them Mission Challenges Indian Mission facing and their role to contribute to those challenges.

Facilitated ‘Business as Mission’ seminar in National Leadership Conference in Dehradun

Involved in planning Income generation projects

I am encouraged to see Indian missions are open to face the challenges of missions and trying new ideas to reach every Indian for Lord Jesus Christ.

I am discouraged when Christians do not understand the context in which we live and open for new ideas.

God would provide many champions who would come along side to bring awareness the challenges Indian Missions faces to reach every single Indian in true sense.

Manisha

I was on leave for four months for domestic reason. Following things I could do during leave.

Admission of my daughters closer to IMA Campus.

Finding and shifting the house closer to IMA campus for convenience to work and look after children.

Spent time with my daughters during summer vacation especially with younger one who is three years old and needed my attention before she joins regular school.

I am encouraged to see my daughters growing in the knowledge and love of God and elder daughter’s good performance in school.

Please pray for my work as I am back to work in Development team.

In December 2006

Worked on CARE and Mission City projects and for Businessmen and Prayer partners meeting.
Sent Annual report and update to IMA donors
Attended Coordinators meeting and presented report for Development Team.
God’s answer and involvement in ministries of IMA is an encouragement to me.

Compiled, and uploaded IMA staff report in the Website for the month of November.

Processed and dispersed missionaries support from the CARE 68^th grant.
Learning new things in computer system and cooperation of colleagues was an encouragement to me.
Wrote closer look on ‘To be Accountable and Transparent’ for Bridge news letter for the month of October.

Coordinated two important think-tanks. (a) Business as Missions (b) Sending Indian Tentmakers.
Finalized list and invitation for younger and new CEO’s gathering
Involved in financial matters on IMA
It is very encouraging to see missions’ leaders have started rethinking on reaching our nations. They are open to accept new ideas and ways in their ministries.
It is very difficult to bring important leaders in meeting due to their business. I pray that these influential leaders should participate in these important events of IMA.

In August 2006:

Ganesh:

Worked on sending invitation to New/younger CEO’s for gathering and for Youth Network core group meeting also corresponded with the leaders and motivated them to participate in Think tank meetings on Business as a mission and Tent maker.
Worked on financial projection.
I am happy to see Iwin finance staff who is picking up fast the work of Finance manager, that will help me to concentrate on Think tanks, Training and Networks
Motivating and imparting the importance of think tank meeting to the Member mission was a challenge to me.
Pray for the upcoming Think tank meetings business as a mission on 15-16 September 2006, Tent makers on 18-19 September 2006 and Younger and New CEO’s gathering on 29-30 November 2006.

Manisha:

Send thanking letters to the partners and donors and sent projects proposal to the foundations.
Worked on five project proposals and edited staff profiles and reports for website.
The trust and coaching of leaders and team Members was a encouragement to me and I struggled getting correct addresses of the foundations to sent the project proposal
Pray that the thank you letters will encourage the donors and also pray that God would provide me strength to balance family and work.

In July 2006:

In July 2006, I, Ganesh sent out invitations to member mission for 2 Think-tank meetings (Business as Mission & Mobilising Tent-makers) both by mail and post and made logistic arrangements for them.
I am encouraged to see God’s goodness and faithfulness in my life.
I struggled with staffs that left instant time and to train other person in finance team
I Manisha updated Staff profiles, preparing projects for IMA programs and other funds.
Wrote thanks letters to the donors and sent them receipts.
I could understand the back ground of all the staff while updating staff profiles that how God works in each of our lives to build His Kingdom it was encouragement to me.
Please pray for proper function in finance team, financial needs of IMA and Think Tank meeting in September. Also pray for strength, creativity, wisdom and speed for work and to get supporters for IMA staff and good health of our family.
