  • Traveled to Bangalore from 3rd to 4th December, 2009 for the Meeting in SAIACS.

  • Participated in Vishwa Vain Board meeting from 8th to 9th December, 2009 in Chennai.

  • Meeting with Synod Mission Board from 10th to 13th December, 2009 in Mizoram. 

  • Visiting South India Missions from 21st December, 2009 to 3rd January, 2010.

  • Spoke in International Neighbors’ Meeting from 15th to 18th November, 2009 at Bangalore.

  • Attended IMA Leadership Restructuring Meeting on 20th November, 2009. 

  • Attended Executive Committee Meeting on 21st November, 2009.      

  • Took one day orientation meeting in Indo–Korean Partnership meeting on 25th November, 2009 in Pune.

  • Visited some of the Member Missions in Nadiad (Gujarat), Kolhapur, and Maharashtra from 18th to 22nd October, 2009.

  • Attended Ethne meeting in Colombia from 22nd to 10th November, 2009.

  • Worked on Vision City project.

  • Worked on Magazine issues.

  • Several correspondences with ministries in India and overseas.

  • Coaching IMA leaders.

  • Taken sessions in Think Tank on Global South on 27th & 28th of August, 2009.

  • Attended Trauma Counseling from 7th to 12th September, 2009.

  • Attended SAIACS Board Members Meeting on 14th September, 2009.

  • Attended Sama-Link in Katmandu, Nepal on 19th Sep, 2009.

  • Working on Ethene Meeting.

  • Attended Vishwa Vani Board members meeting on 9th -11th, July, 2009 at Chennai.

  • Took Devotion for Vishwa Vani Staff and regional leaders in Karnataka on 31st July, 2009.

  • Worked on Vision City project

  • Worked on Magazine.

  • Caught up with several correspondences with ministries in India and overseas.

  • Many coaching of people done for IMA ministries.

  • I encouraged seeing the building work of Vision City started. And also the good team maturing in many areas

  • Some times I struggle in responding thousands of mails.

Report from January to June 2009

  • Ministered in National Leadership Conference in Bangalore 10th – 15th May, 2009 at SAIACS in Bangalore.

  • Taught in Advanced Mission Leadership Training Programme from 12th – 24th May, 2009 at Hyderabad.

  • Organized and taught Phd. students on Leadership and Management.

  • Prepared and finalized the project proposals for IMA.

  • Met with many leaders from India and abroad who wanted to know more about missions in India and partnership.

  • Pressing on in the midst of encouragement and some issues to be sorted out. Thank the Lord for His Grace.

  • All the Upcoming programmes of IMA.

Report in the month of November 2008

  • Attended ‘World Evangelical Alliance Mission Commission’ mobilization meeting at Pattaya, Thailand.

  • Attended Media Think Tank.

  • Had several meetings with Executive Secretaries to guide them in their work.

  • Checking and Responding Mails.

  • Attended George Verwer’s Meeting.

  • I am happy that many are starting to respond the real mission challenges in India. Younger leaders see the point.

  • Pray for the Leaders to be raised because there is Lack of leader as much so be done.

  • Pray for my Travel of next month to Delhi and Chennai.

  • Matching Funds for the Building Vision City at Hyderabad.

Report in the month of October 2008

  • Prepared the dates for the events of Think-tanks for 2009-2010.

  • Finalized the Project Proposals for 2009.

  • Held several meetings with Executive Secretaries to guide them in all their work.

  • Spent time with the needy team members for their own growth.

  • Trip to U.S. for ‘Evangelical Fellowship of Mission Agencies’ Annual Conference..

  • Pray for the programs planned for 2009.

  • Pray for the need for Global Leadership Development.

Report in the month of September 2007

  • Twice a Month take IMA devotion for building the Hyderabad Team and continue to pass on the vision for the future.

  • Spent time with the Executive Leaders to coach them in all their work.

  • Spent time with the needy team members on their own growth.

  • Visited SAICS several times to discuss the on-going issues of SAIACS, especially trying to find a new Principal.

  • September 1st week was spent on two crucial meetings in LA, USA. One was A dialogue meeting with the Global South Missions Movements Leaders about our relationship with the rest of the leaders across the world. The meeting was well attended with Global South and Global North leaders to discuss on going missions issues and continued cooperation for the new day.

  • The second meeting with the Ethene Global Leadership team concerning the future movements of Ethne. It was decided to call a global meeting at Colombia in 2009. IMA will continue to be a part of the Global Ethne with a new leader representing IMA as I will need to concentrate on other issues.

  • The spent almost two days with the Dave & Cathy Hicks at Atlanta, the IMA International Associates, planning the future of donor relationships across the USA and their continual involvement in the sub-continent of India.

  • Spoke in the IMA Advance Missions’ Leadership Training in the graduation ceremony.

  • Spent a day with the Pan India Leaders Rev. Richard Howell (EFI) and Dino Touthang [EFICOR] to plan the future movement of Pan India. We plan to call several joint meetings together which will affect the church, missions and the Christian NGOs.

  • Spent much time writing different issues for missions.

  • Continuing to plan, write, phone and visit to different donors, Global leaders on several global issues and also Indian leaders on other issues, trying to keep all ends connected.

Future

  • Will continue to work on similar things as above and follow-up, especially coaching IMA leaders and the team to function to serve the missions constituency in India and also coach them for the global issues..

  • In October visiting Delhi for the Seva Bharat Conference and visiting Aizawl, Mizoram with Mr. Zohmingthanga for the Synod Mission’s Silver Jubilee. Bangalore visiting other missions on different issues.

  • Beginning to prepare for the IMA Executive meeting in December.

Report in the month of September 2006

  • Taught in Union Bible Seminary [UBS] for the M.Th students on missions for a week. Dialogued with the faculty and the students on the many missions issues. The session for all on the cotemporary mission challenges was an eye-opener for many and this opened up for them many conversations on mission.

  • Took two extended devotions [seminars] for the IMA staff to keep them updated and motivate them in what we supposed to do for missions in India and the globe.

  • Met with the member relations team and discussed the way forward and the issues relating to their jobs in relating to member missions.

  • Similarly met with Training, development, administration, Finance, research & communication teams to update and direction for the month.

  • Spent 13 & 14th at SAIACS, Bangalore as a Trustee to sort many SAIACS matters. Now I function as the Executive Trustee for SAIACS matters for a short period.

  • Attended and was heavily involved in two IMA Thinktanks, Business as Mission, Sending missionaries as Tentmakers and in the Andhra Pradesh IMA CEOs and couples meetings at Hyderabad.

  • Met with the EFCUM and Interserve leaders while they were visiting Hyderabad.

  • Met many other leaders who were passing by.

  • Attended, spoke, and dialogued much in the Finish the Task consultation at Delhi. Deepesh, Zohmingthanga and Kannan were also there as a team. They contributed a lot. Now Kannan with Dr. Alex Abraham will continue to lead the follow-up of the FTT. We changed the name to Track a People instead of Finish the Task. It was emphasized that it has to be driven by the national leadership. Others could become partners.

  • On the travel spent a day with our daughter Preeti Rajendran and other staff at Woodstock school at Mussorie, Uttranchal.

  • I had several other meetings with individuals and teams concerning missions.

  • Many letters were answered on different issues of missions.

  • The IMA magazine has been edited and commissioned to the team to follow through. 

Report in the month of August 2006

  • Took two seminars / extended devotion for the IMA team as a part of building and give them focus in wok.

  • Worked with all the IMA teams on the strategy of their work.

  • On 9th had a great day with the CEOs of the three members added to IMA. It was a time of getting to know each other and welcoming them into IMA.

  • On 11th a day of meeting was held for the Chennai CEOs. Enjoyed working with Prakash from IMA and Rev. Samuel Prabhakar, the Director of National Missionary Society.

  • On 17th spent a day together with Pramila Rajendran and Mr. Ravi David discussing membercare issues of the IMA member CEOs, other missions issues and also to discuss the PhD thesis that Ravi is working on the CEO care.

  • On 22nd spent time with Dr. Pravin Moudgil on different issues.

  • From 25 – 27th attended the Board meeting of India Institute of Missiology [IIM] at Madurai. Thought much on the mission issues.

  • On 29th spent time with Sibi Kuriakose as he was leaving IMA to the USA to settle.

  • From Aug 30 – Sept 1 spent at SAIACS on the matters of SAIACS. Some tough decisions had to be made in the Board.

  • Encouraged by the team starting to work as a team and much is being done with tremendous focus to help missions in India.

  • Need prayers for both of our kids in their works. Pramila and I need much grace and perseverance in many challenges and work load on Indian and International issues.

Report in the month of July 2006

  • Attended the WEA MC meetings in South Africa and chaired the global leadership team which works to give a direction in the work of the WEA MC. There were about 300 major missions’ leaders and thinkers from across the world. Thus was able to think through missions issues and was able to build bridges in the global missions’ scenario.

  • Almost every day, has had several meetings with member missions on various issues both in the office and around India.

  • Almost every day spent time with various IMA teams and network leaders setting direction and delegating ministries to the teams. This also has to do with mentoring teams and guiding them in their visits to member missions and planning programmes for the benefit of member missions.

  • Was able to visit SAIACS in Bangalore, as a member of the Board as well as visiting it as a member mission.

  • In Bangalore, met with Sekar and family, a member mission leader and IMA South representative who works with me and Prakash, the South India coordinator.

  • Wrote many letters to member missions and other work related friends.

  • Continue to interact, write, and speak with broad thinking teams on various issues with in India and abroad concerning missions.

  • Wrote several articles for IMA and other communications across the world.

  • Edited and finalised the IMA Magazine and other communication materials which goes out of our office.

  • Have taken a series of devotional and missions related topics for the staff for the IMA office to build ethos, organizational culture, and systems.

  • Visited several member missions especially the ones which needs special attention in their leadership transition process.

  • Encouraged to see several Indian Missions CEOs both older and younger collogues attending the WEA MC meetings in South Africa.

  • Everyday I was encouraged by the progress of the team members in their work and personal progress.

  • Felt good about reorganization of the several IMA teams for better and effective work and the progress made.

  • Encouraged by Pramila, my wife and her continuous and active involvement in missions and the number of like-minded talks on several issues of missions.

  • Struggle with trying to educate all concerned on the contemporary mission issues in many traditional and at times non-effective mission practices.

  • Struggle to find the right amount of time to mentor others around me including my own children.

  • Struggle with continual financial pressures for serving the member missions of IMA and finding the right funding for number of things happens with and through IMA. However encouraged to see the team owning responsibilities in many areas of the IMA work.

  • Praising the Lord for you friends, partners and colleagues who pray and serve together in many different areas. Blessings.
